Launched in the fall of 2002 the KiSS DP-450 is the first DVD-player in the world which supports DivX 3.11, 4 and 5 files thus making it possible to play back movies in DVD quality from a normal CD. The KiSS DP-450 - manufactured and designed in Scandinavia - was designed to provide consumers with the highest possible quality in picture and sound.
The DP-500 is based on the ground breaking DP-450 with its DivX 3.11, 4 and 5, XviD, Mpeg 4, MP3, Ogg Vorbis reading capabilities. An Ethernet 10/100 port has been added to the player along with a Sigma Designs EM8550 progressive DVD decoder chip which enable any user with a 1MB xDSL connection to stream DVD quality movies directly from the Internet.

They have several additional models, the KiSS DP-1500, DP-1504 (40GB HDD) and DP-1508 (80GB HDD) are all based on the Slim Line DivX Compatible DVD Player KiSS DP-1000, these three players have also a built-in Ethernet Port and a PC Card Slot (For Wireless Connection), enabling them to read Audio/Video/Picture content straight from a PC with the KiSS PC-Link Software as well as WebRadio.
