The long-awaited dual standard Blu-ray/HD-DVD drive LG GGW-H10N will be available in Taiwan market in early June at a retail price of $1,208 or about €897.
This drive is able to write on Blu-ray media but is only able to read HD-DVD discs. It can also write on conventional DVD (both single and dual layer) and RAM discs (up to 12x speed, and I'm sure that in Taiwan 12x RAM discs are easily available).
LG expects to sell 50-100 of the burners a month in Taiwan.
