LG Electronics today officially launched its flagship mobile phone for the year, its LG Arena (LG-KM900). Full details and specifications regarding the device have not yet been disclosed.
The phone is a 3G device that has HSDPA and WiFi support, as well as DivX movie file support. It seems touch interface phones are still the latest craze, and LG's latest flagship phone is no different, offering a large touch screen.
Specifically, the phone has a unique S-Class user interface that simulates a cube, offering phone owners different home screens that can be used for individual features.

"The direct, intuitive and dynamic S-Class UI will be unlike anything that has appeared on a mobile phone before. With rich 3D graphics, touch sensitivity and exciting multimedia capabilities, it will truly make ARENA a fully loaded multimedia phone,” President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Dr. Skott Ahn said in a statement.
Although mobile phones are seemingly every where these days, manufacturers are developing more phones that offer video, picture, MP3 and video support, as more consumers want to use their phones for more than just phone calls.
We're less than one week before the Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona, so a slew of other phone announcements will likely take place over the next two weeks. In addition, more details about the new LG Arena will be revealed during the show next week, so stay tuned.
