The format war between Blu-ray and HD DVD is still going on and some analysts are already predicting a winner. LG isn't planning to decide yet and is working under code name 'Super Blu'. Its main goal is to provide both formats with a player in one, and DVD-upscale options to 1080P.
Now LG comes with a second-generation player under code name Super Blu. The BH200. The biggest advantage here is full-specification HD DVD and Blu-ray profile 1.1. This means all added special advantages like animated menus can be used on this combo player.
