to the market.
SOHW-1673SU is not just a 16x DVD Dual drive with Double
Layer writing capacity. It is also the first LITE-ON drive equipped with EZ-DUB
feature. EZ-DUB is an innovative new feature developed by LITE-ON. It provides
users a much easier solution for copying discs and backing up files
:
Disc DUB : ( for Disc Copy )
To copy a disc, all you
need to do is : 1) insert the source disc into the drive, 2) push DUB button and
3) replace the disc by a blank disc when the drive ejects. Copying has never
been this easy.
File DUB : ( for File Backup )
Besides
Disc DUB, the EZ-DUB function also helps users easily back-up files. Again, a
simple 3-step procedure for File DUB function is enough: 1) drag the files into
the EZDUB folder on the desktop, 2) insert a blank disc into the drive and 3)
push FILE button.
EZ-DUB is as easy as 1-2-3.
It¡¦s a unique feature that no other brands in the market offer. The EZ-DUB
drive has two buttons on top of the drive: The DUB button for copying discs and
the FILE button for backing up files. Extra hardware on top of the drive links
these buttons to the EZ-DUB software. The software is designed by LITE-ON, and
offers only very few, clear and simple function. Everything is designed to make
this drive easy to use. SOHW-1673SU EZ-DUB drive is also compatible with usual
burning software, and like other LITE-ON drives, DVD authoring, burning,
playback and back-up software will be bundled in the retail package.
