At the upcoming CeBIT, the Austrian company Laks, will present a watch with included MP3/WMA player that doubles as a portable storage device. The watch called the "Laks Memory Music", will store up to 5 hours of music on flash memory and will have a playtime of 4-5 hours. You recharge the battery with the USB 1.1 cable within 90 minutes that is also used for the transfer of data. An optional power adapter charger is available for keeping the 3.7 volt Lithium battery ready to go.
The Laks Memory Music is compatible with PCs, Macs and is Linux friendly as well. It will be available from Laks and in "special stores" sometime in March. S porting several different styles and memory configurations, the 256 MB version will cost 198 Euro, the 128 MB version 149 Euro, the 64 Megabyte version costs 129 Euro and the 32 Megabyte version 89 Euro.
