Lite-On has released the specifications of its first "own" DVD writer, the LDW-401S. The drive writes DVD+R/RW in 4x/4x speed as well as CD-R/RW in 40x/24x, which is the fastest CD recording speed in any DVD writer released so far.
LITE-ON IT CORP., the professional manufacturer for Ultra-Speed CD-RW/COMBO ReWriters, announces its first half-height ATAPI/E-IDE 4X DVD+RW ReWriter: LDW-401S. This DVD ReWriter is able to write DVD+R media at 4X maximum, rewrite DVD+RW media at 4X, and read DVD-ROM media at 12X maximum. It only takes around 15 minutes to backup 4.7 GB data on a certified DVD+R/DVD+RW media at 4X. LITE-ON IT DVD+RW ReWriter can save you a lot of time and trouble for data storage.
