BoSkin has spotted a new drive over
at the Lite-On website, the SOHW-1213S. The drive supports 12x DVD+R, 8x DVD-R, 4x DVD±RW, 48x CD-R and 24x
CD-RW, the same recording speeds as we saw on the Plextor PX-712A drive. This is
unexpected as many manufacturers are planning to skip 12x DVD recorders and will
jump straight to 16x writers instead. Anyway, here are the specifications of the
Lite-On SOHW-1213S drive:
