As of yet there is no information available on the price of
Lite-On's latest DVD recorder but in Korea the drive is already available for around US$ 270. For now you're welcome to join the discussions in our Lite-On Forum .
Via our forum I already found out that, unlike the Plextor PX-708A DVD recorder, the LDW-811S cannot
record certain 4x DVD+R media at 8x as it requires 8x certified DVD+R media
to write at 8x. Too bad these discs are not available
yet...
