Lite-On has released a utility with which you can check the speed that Smart-Burn has selected for your media. A very handy utility if you ask me:

For 32X and 40X CD-RW Drive, SMART-BURN may limit CD-R burning speed base on the information that check the media info & quality. You can use this program to know what media you are using & what speed limit is set by SMART-BURN.

As you can see the utility has been released for the Lite-On 32x and 40x model. However on CDRLabs.com you can see that it also works on the Lite-On 24x model for some reason...
