MF Digital introduces the CD-5906EC live event Recorder/Duplicator

July 9, 2004- East
Farmingdale, NY - With the church and academic markets increasingly using
CD media as a means of distributing copies of live spoken word or musical
events, MF Digital has announced the introduction of the CD-5906EC LIVE audio
digital recorder and CD duplicator.MF Digital
is a leading manufacturer of CD/DVD duplication, publishing and printing
equipment for the professional audio and video, corporate, religious and
government markets.

All MF Digital CD/DVD systems employ
Microsoft's ® Windows XP embedded platform to provide ease of use and
scalability. The new 5906EC LIVE combination recorder/duplicator system allows
easy recording from virtually any mixer or other analog or digital source right
to the 'EC Live" hard disk and then almost instantaneous output to six to sixty
disc copies at once.  This powerful and easy to use system is ideally
suited for the recording of church and school events, seminars, lectures,
concerts, legal depositions, or any application where multiple audio recordings
are instantly needed.

Whether used in a centralized production location
or expanded to allow remote duplication throughout a campus or concert venue,
"the 5906EC LIVE gives engineers the ability to give or sell attendees a CD as
they walk out of the event," according to Greg Morris, Western Sales manager, MF
Digital.

The 5906EC LIVE can record up to 50 hours of CD
quality sound directly to the system's hard drive.  The user simply records
the event or performance to the hard disk, sets the desired Start IDs or track
points, and can even choose where to span discs if the program exceeds the
capacity of one CD.  Actually duplication of up to six copies at once can
begin within minutes of the event conclusion.

MF Digital's 'disc casting" (Free client command
module) allows connection to additional CD-5906EC towers and the ability to burn
on a virtually unlimited number of drives '“ whether set remotely around a
concert facility or campus, or located in a production facility.  The EC,
'Endless Configuration," provides an autoloader option for complete automation
of the burn process.
