Recently we received the following message from one of our visitors (Sorry lost your name ). He reported that the Mirai 24/10/40 has problems if you build it in a system that contains the Abit KT7a Raid motherboard.
Mirai 24/10/40 ide wont work on a abit kt7a raid board. Contacted mirai, they have no clue whatsw rong but addmit there is a issue with the KT7A RAID borad and a gigabyte board raid |
I contacted Mirai Technologies about this, and today we got an answer:
For your information, we are working closely with the Japanese manufacturer of the Mirai CD-RW drives and the problem identified by one of your visitors. |
When we have a 'fix' I will let you know.
For those who are about to buy a Mirai 24/10/40 IDE drive and already own this Abit board, you better wait till they fix it. For those already owning both parts, let's hope they will fix it soon !
