Music and movement

Small is beautiful in the world of portable music and Toshiba has joined the miniature market with the launch of the MEA210 digital audio player. Measuring just 5cm by 5cm, the MEA210 is certainly small and the silver and chrome bodywork covers this MP3 player with 32Mb of embedded memory - enough for half an hour of near CD-quality music.

Another standard known as Advanced Audio Compression is also supported, which is claimed to offer true CD-quality sound but takes up no more memory than MP3. Extra memory can be added courtesy of new memory cards but these are relatively hard to come by at present. If you're looking to improve the way you manage your PC music collection, Mediagold is distributing the latest version of the MusicMatch Jukebox program, now on version 6.

Although a reduced version is available as a free download, the full retail version, available on the high street for about $45, has a host of new features including themed wallpapers that change according to what you listen to, a case designer and a blank CD-R to get you recording straight away.

Take a look at this MP3 player, very nice (and small) http://www.toshiba.com/tacp/portable/MEA210.html!
