Well napster didn't like this so they tried to sue them (reported here). But they couldn't wait so now they cracked napcameback.com and stopped it all
April 25, 2001 - According to our latest tests Napster has recently violated the very legislation they now claim to support. In violation of the Digital Mellenium Copyright Act Napster has cracked our most recent encryption and is now filtering files named using the NapCameBack Encoder. Though this may be illegal and is certainly a violation of your privacy as part of the file sharing community, it comes as no surprise.
