National Geographic leaves HD DVD and goes Blu-ray only. This move was expected by many since National Geographic is distributed by Warner. Next April the 'golden rectangle' will start its exclusiveness with 'Sharkwater'.
National Geographic's choice leaves BBC as the only Warner-distributed company that didn't go 'blu' yet. Analysts say that the end of the format war will mean more high quality, and beautiful content from National Geographic.
