Xecuter2, jellybelly and hernygo all used our news submit to tell us that Nero has been updating recently and also they have found the changelog for us. Nero is calling this a major update and they say to get the major update of Nero 6 Ultra Edition, along with NeroVision Express 3, you will have to download all 6 update-packages. If you are just interested in the update of Nero Version 6.6, you can download package 1 and package 2 only. Download all 6 packages to receive all the new features.
| What's new in Nero Burning ROM 6.6.0.14: (Changes from Package #1, Version 6.6.0.13 - 6.6.0.14) Release Date: June 7, 2005 - Added support of layer jump recording for DVD-R DL
- Nero now always uses UDF 1.02 as default for DVD DL media if BAO or multisession are written
- Now the VIDEO_TS folder is opened per default so a drag and drop action will add the files to the correct folder
Bug fixes: - Writing a UDF/ISO bridge compilation with enabled multisession option could fail with an error
- Transcoding of some *.wav files to Ogg Vorbis crashed Nero in some cases
- Quick erase of a blank media could end with an error message on specific hardware
- An inserted background image for a LightScribe label appeared to be very jagged if the DPI setting was selected to automatic
What's new in NVE 3.1.0.11: Bug Fixes: - MPEG2 files were recognized as audio tracks in Edit-mode for a VCD project
- Audio encoded to Dolby(C) Digital 5.1 could have jumps/sync issues in some rare cases
- Fixed wrong calculated disc space for DVD+R DL media
- Continuing and finalizing of an unfinalized DVD-VFR on a DVD-R disc could lead to an application crash
- Exporting to MPEG1 was creating a damaged file
