Nero has released what appears to be a significant update of its suite with the release of Nero Burning ROM 7.7.5.1. Its last version 7.5.7.0 was released back in November 2006.
The Nero suite update includes updates to most of its bundled applications, some with fairly significant version increases also. The updated application versions are as follows:

- Nero ShowTime - 3.5.3.2
- Nero MediaHome 2.1.11.0
- Nero CoverDesigner - 2.7.3.0
- Nero InfoTool - 4.2.1.0
- Nero CD-DVD Speed - 4.7.0.2
- Nero Drive Speed - 3.0.10.0
- Nero BackItUp - 2.7.3.2
- InCD - 5.5.1.9
- Nero BurnRights - 2.1.0.6
- Nero ProductSetup - 1.6.13.0
As usual, no release notes have been made available for Nero 7.7.5.1 or any of its applications. So far now, we would recommend waiting for release notes first to see if there is much of a benefit of updating to the new version before downloading the 190.61MB beast, particularly for those on slower connections or who have a very limited monthly traffic allowance, such as satellite broadband users. One thing to watch out for is that this update suite also comes bundled with the Ask Toolbar, which is set to install by default unless the user ticks the option to not install it on the initial setup screen.
