Yesterday VSO
Software has put online two updates for their CopyToDVD and BlindWrite software. The CopyToDVD update removed
the option to change the book type of a DVDR disc to DVD-ROM because of
stability problems. There is no changelog available for the BlindWrite update
but on the VSO Software website we can read the following information:
 CopyToDVD 2.3.4
released. Due to a lot of problems with the
command change book type ( to force a dvd+/- to be seen as a DVD-ROM with
some home player ) because of instability , strange noise, problems with
burning etc... we removed the option. Anyway this command works with a
limited number of dvd writers so it should not change a lot of
things.
BlindWrite 4.9.9.95 is available for
download for the registered users. Many thanks for all your nice comments
about this new release. We are working hard to improve the last details
and optimize the products. We can't reply to everybody, but be sure we are
reading carefully your feedback and try to satisfy you. To update your
version to the latest 4.9.9.95, just use the links embedded in the email
you received few hours ago.
