So you are a filming enthusiast, or you are the 'real deal' as a documentary maker? Canon has unveiled two new camcorders called the XL H1S, and the XL H1A. The two have a 20x HD lens and for the real movie buff this could just be the camcorder you've been waiting for. By simply manualy changing its focus and zoom you create a movie that fits your preference. Is this the camcorder for the next holiday season?
Both camcorders deliver HD quality video by using HDV tapes. You can easily connect your camcorder to any hardware system, by using a durable six-pin IEEE 1394 terminal. Besides these capabilities the camcorders are especially good for those that want to take control. Zoom and iris adjustment rings make your 'holiday video' look how you want it to, but what will this cost you?
Next June and July the two camcorders will be available, just in time for the family's holiday. To make a video that fits your preference, and record it in high-definition you will pay a shocking $8,999 for the XL H1S and $5,999 for the XL H1A. Definitely not the camera that I will take on holiday, but probably a good deal for the real enthusiast.
