SwENSkE used our newssubmit to tell us that the DAEMON Tools teams has released a new version last night. The latest version is 2.79.
DAEMON Tools is an advanced application for multiprotection emulation. It is further development of Generic Safedisc emulator and incorporates all its features.
This program allows running BACKUP copies of SafeDisc (C-Dilla), Securom or Laserlock protected games. Also included is a Virtual CDROM drive (V386 PHANTOM CDROM) enabling you to use your CD images as if they were already burned to CD!
DAEMON Tools works under Windows9x/ME/NT/2000 with all types of CDROM drives (IDE/SCSI) and supports nearly any CD protection.
Updated: Main thing was to fix the lame Macrovision blacklisting of our program used in the May Payne update 1.01 which made this game stop working on all ME/9x PCs who had DAEMON Tools installed - even with the ORIGINAL! |
Now DAEMON Tools works again for ALL Safedisc versions and also emulates them.
