New Universe announces DDW-082 dual format DVD recorder

New Universe (Nu-Tech) has sent us a press release in which they announce the availability of their latest DVD recorder, the NU DDW-082. The drive will have the same features as the NU DDW-081 drive and will support 8x recording to DVD+R media. Here's the complete press release:

Incorporating the same features as the NU DDW-081 drive, the DDW-082 is able to write both DVD+R/RW and DVD±R/RW discs, as well as CD-R/RW discs. In addition it can perform as a regular DVD-ROM drive.

The DDW-082 supports 8X speed DVD+R disc, 4x speed DVD-R, 4x speed DVD+RW, 2x speed DVD-RW, 12X speed DVD-ROM, 40X speed CD-R , 24X speed CD-RW and 40X speed CD-ROM. The drive further incorporates state-of-the-art technology such as Seamless Link and Dual suspension Mechanism to provide a stable and buffer under run free operation.

To meet creative demand, NU has included Nero Vision Express for video capture, editing, authoring, Cyberlink PowerDVD for DVD playback and Nero Express for recording music and data discs.
