Ever dreamt about fitting 100 games on a single compact disc? According to ZeoSync, it should be possible with their new compression technique.
They claim to have developed a technique (it's not finished yet) that makes it possible to compresses data 100x (or more) better than we are used to.
Sounds quite good huh?

ZeoSync said its scientific team had succeeded on a small scale in compressing random information sequences in such a way as to allow the same data to be compressed more than 100 times over -- with no data loss. That would be at least an order of magnitude beyond current known algorithms for compacting data.
The same compression technique might one day make make high-speed Internet access cheaper and widely available across the globe, posing a threat to huge investments in telecommunications network capacity, an industry analyst said.
If this really IS true, it offers thousands and thousands of options. Just imagine...
Just one problem: I tend not to believe it. We've heard stories like these before and they all turned out to be (probably) fake. Therefor, I guess this to be just another hoax.
