New freeware media check program released, Minfo

that Karr Wang, author of  the Lite-On media testing tool Kprobe, has released
another freeware utility on Club
CD Freaks , called Minfo:

Karr Wang has once again provided us with a free tool. "Minfo" is very much like the SmartBurn Media Checker, but should work on all drives, not just LiteOn. It reports the max burning speed for the media in the specific drive, reading speed, as well as the ATIP information.

Discussions on this new tool are ongoing. If you're
