Warner Brothers thinks that consumers will only embrace Blu-ray live titles if they are 'mind boggling' for consumer to get excited. Unfortunately this is currently not the case and therefore Warner Brothers has decided not to release any Blu-ray Live titles in 2008.
This was announced by the Vice President of Warner Brothers International who also added he was happy with current Blu-ray sales, but said it was harder to sell Blu-ray catalog titles then DVD ones and mentioned the possibility of adding a free digital copy of the movie so people got more choices should they decide to upgrade old titles to HD.
