Yesterday Oprah Winfrey announced a cashless deal with Discovery Communication. It seems that the media tycoon's empire is getting bigger and bigger after the announcement of her own TV network. The network is dubbed Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
Without any cash going over the table Discovery contributes its Health Channel to be rebranded as OWN in 2009 and simulcast in HD. Discovery's channel reaches more than 70 million cable and satellite subscribers.
Let's say that Oprah did it again, and your wife will be happy in 2009.
