A good resource when it comes to CloneCD, is our CloneCD Forum. Recently our moderators, G@M3FR3@K and FutureProof have posted optimized profiles to backup CDs using the most populair copy protections. The profiles are in general not needed, the default game profile should do the trick.
But the profiles you can download at our forum are optimized for the several protections giving you the best speed and quality. The profiles are pretty well tested and should give you the optimum performance.
We (FutureProof and me) have noticed that a lot of people are still having problems using the default Game Profile in CloneCD version 4. Therefore we have set-up Profiles for the most common copy-protections used nowadays for you to download and use with CloneCD 4. Store these Profiles in your CloneCD/Profiles folder.
