The company behind the Oront software recording suite has let us know that Oront Burning Kit version 2.3 is now available. A few main improvements include improved stability and performance, ability to burn using multiple optical drives simultaneously, auto-check for updates at start and a few other fixes and updates.
As most of the major recording suites have grown to the point where the average user only makes use of a fraction of its features and most suites don't offer cheaper cut-down versions, Oront has designed its software to be both affordable and easy-to-use, while handling all the major disc formats including Blu-ray & HD DVD and support for MP3s, Audio CDs, ISO images and DVD player compatible Video DVDs. Its premium version also offers the ability to recover from corrupted / multisession discs and burning to multiple drives simultaneously.
