High definition is coming to the old fashioned road trip with Panasonic's launch of the first portable Blu-ray player.
The Panasonic DMP-B15 is modelled after a picture frame and features a built-in 8.9 inch LCD screen. It also sports an HDMI output for connecting to a television for viewing in the lounge room.
The new player offers DivX compatibility along with Panasonic’s VIERA CAST function, allowing users to access online content such as YouTube and Google's Picasa Web Albums. The DMP-B15 also includes a SD/SDHC card slot, which means it can double as a digital photo frame.
