Matsushita subsidiary trumps with the SD Card and
goes all out for DVD. Panasonic will present its first 1 G Byte SD-Card by the
start of the IFA. With a data rate of up to 20 Mbit/s it is also suitable for
professional video recordings. The Japanese firm is presenting four new products
matching the SD-Card. The all-rounder SV-AV20 can use the storage medium for
photos, videos and sound recording and also play them back. However, it weighs
just 92 grams and is no larger than a handset.
The portable SV-P20 printer enables snapshot
printing on the go. The SV-SD85 SD audio player is the smallest and lightest
player around for this tiny medium, according to Panasonic. And its rechargeable
battery can play up to 18 hours of music. In order to transfer music CDs onto SD
cards without a PC, the firm presents the SV-SR100 SD audio
recorder.
