A few days ago there was news about a possible switch of Paramount to exclusively produce for Blu-ray. But the movie studio denies the rumors and says that they are not planning to abandon HD-DVD yet.
The rumor started after an article in the Financial Times. In the article it was told that there was a clause in Paramount's contract with the HD-DVD Group. The clause said that Paramount could leave if Warner leaves first, and that happened not so long ago.
Official reactions from Paramount say that the rumors are not true.
