PeerGuardian software updated, adds application priority control

GristyMcFisty reports us that yesterday a new
PeerGuardian version was released. For those of you who are not familiar
with the software, PeerGuardian is a utility that blocks certain IP addresses
used by the recording industry and affiliated companies to search for file
sharers. We can find the following information on the PeerGuardian
website:

This version increases the quick-lookup ignore table. (>180
connections had the potential to cause PG to go into an infinite loop!!) -
Hopefully this will help PG perform better than the pr6 test release!
🙂

This release also allows you to control the
applications priority from within the program. (Just click where it says
"Priority: NORMAL" to toggle normal/high
priority)

If you're interested in trying out this latest version, you can
download it from the PeerGuardian homepage. You're of course welcome to
share your experiences with this software in our Club CD Freaks Living
Room
.
