Philips HDD100/HDD120 EasyCopy software released!

The Philips HDD100 and
HDD120 are digital music players. The players are shipped with Philips' own
software which, of course, lets you copy music to your player. The 'problem' is,
is that you cannot copy the music that's on the player back to another computer.
Luckily there are always clever people around that have too much spare time 😉
Someone has released a tool called HDD100/HDD120 EasyCopy which circumvents
this problem:

What will the program do/not do?

This program will let you copy music from you Philips HDD100 or HDD120
to your local harddrive. You can put this program on your HDD100/HDD120
and copy music to every computer you connect to.

This program is not a replacement for the Philips DRM software. It will
not copy files to your device. (I am working on a version now wich
can).

What are the requirements?

A HDD100/HDD120 compatible PC (see the Philips website). You'll also
need the .NET Framework installed, you can find it here. (I recommend that you place the .NET
Framework on you device so you can install it from
there.)

If you have a Philips HDD100 or HDD120 digital music player and if you're
interested in trying out the (free) EasyCopy software then check out this
website
.
