Pinnacle Studio software now supports Hi Definition

The well known video editing software, Pinnacle Studio, now also supports hi definition.

Avid Technology, Inc., the owner of Pinnacle Systems, Inc., announched today, the release of Pinnacle Studio version 10.6, that supports the new hi definition video format.

According to Jeff Hastings, general manager, Pinnacle Systems:

'With the general availability of Microsoft's Vista operating system right around the corner, we are committed to completing compatibility requirements for Vista by the time it is commercially available in 2007.'

Camcorder owners already know this software very well (often included in retail packages), and now also owners of latest Hi Def camcorders will appreciate Pinnacle Studio.
