The companies DivXNetworks and BroadQ have announced that their software called QCast Tuner now enables the PlayStation 2 to playback DivX files.
All videos encoded in DivX 5.xx and and earlier at resolutions of 720x320 and below can be played with the software and the companies are working to get also higher resolutions on the Playstation 2.
