Plextor adds 4x DVD+R media to its products range

This morning I found a press release in my mailbox in which Plextor Europe announces that besides high-speed CD-R media they will now also start selling high-speed DVD+R media. The DVD+R discs will of course have a capacity of 4.7GB and will be certified for 4x recording:

Top-speed, optimal write quality

The latest generation of fast DVD recorders impose ever higher requirements on the discs used. So it is important to choose the right media. The new Plextor DVD+R discs meet the highest quality requirements. They have a write speed of no less than 4x, offer optimum write quality, superior reliability and record extremely precisely. The DVD surface is coated with a film layer, so that the discs are protected optimally against scratching.

Plextor DVD+R discs are not only suitable for Plextor DVD-recorders, but can also be used in drives made by all other manufacturers.
