Poikosoft releases version 8 of Easy CD-DA Extractor

know that on Friday Poikosoft has released version 8 of their Easy CD-DA
Extractor software. For those of you who are not familiar with this software,
Easy CD-DA Extractor is an application that can rip, burn and convert audio
files. For a complete overview of what the software does you can check out the

New features in v8.0:

Multi-language User Interface; Loadable
language add-ons, english & finnish included.

Audio CD Ripper
- "Select all" and "Invert selection" functions now
  select only audio tracks.
- "UPPER CASE", "lower case", "Sentence case", and
  "Capitalize" bug with compilation discs fixed
- Output Folder field now accept symbols
  <artist>, <album>, etc
- Lowercase filenames, and space replacement now
  works again (Options / General Settings / Illegal Character
  Replacement)
- Changing the font does not make the edit cursor
  disappear (or if it does, restarting the program once makes the
  problem go away)
- No more missing first character when editing
  track titles on the grid
- Folder browser dialog shows the Create Folder
  -button again
Audio File Format Converter
- Load / Drag & Drop M3U playlists
- Convert Cue Sheets (.cue + audio file) to other
  formats
- Rename files based on metadata
- Folder browser dialog shows the Create Folder
  -button again
- Save & Load the Filelist
- Ability to pause the conversion
  process
Audio CD Creator
- Load / Drag & Drop M3U playlist
- Burn Cue Sheet (.cue + audio file) to an Audio
  CD
- Save & Load the
  Tracklist
MP4 Output; File structure changed so that
it is more compatible with iTunes and iPod; iTunes streaming now works,
reduced battery usage in iPod
M4A Output; File structure changed so that
it is more compatible with iTunes and iPod; iTunes streaming now works,
reduced battery usage in iPod
AAC Output; ID3V1 tag is now written to .aac
files (previously only ID3V2 tag was written which was wrong
behaviour)
MP3 Output; Samplerate in LAME Configurator
now shown in Hz, not in kbit/s
FLAC Output; Encoder updated
FLAC Input; Decoder updated
Nero AAC Output; Tracknumber is now written
to the metadata
Plus few more minor feature
enhancements!
