Amie Hoffner used our newssubmit to tell us that Primera has a new product, the ComposerPro Optical Disc Duplicator that incorporates Pioneer's new combination DVD-R/CD-R drive.
This CD/DVD duplicator is for those who have a lot of CD/DVD recording to do and the ComposerPro works without a computer. You can write up to 100 discs while you are away and the machine is able to create up to 60 discs in a hour.
This new drive offers DVD-R 'General Purpose" (GP) recording capability as well as DVD-RW, CD-R, and CD-RW '“ all in a single drive. Primera Technology's integration of the DVR-A03 drive is the first in a commercially available disc publishing system that records and prints automatically. |
The Pioneer DVR-A03 drive is the world's first combination DVD/CD writer.
It records DVD-R (GP) discs at 2x speed and CD-Rs at 8x speed, so one drive literally does it all. Because DVD-Rs offer 4.7GB of storage capacity, applications such as video and data storage are quickly becoming common for the format. Discs recorded and printed on the Composer can be read in computer DVD-ROM drives as well as DVD video players.
