Primera has send us a press release announcing their latest product; The Bravo Disc Publisher with Mac compatibility. According to the company Bravo is the world's first automated CD duplicating and printing system that is priced at less than $2000 MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested List Price).
Instead of copying and labeling discs one at a time, Bravo is designed for hands-free, automated production of up to 25 CDs or DVDs per job. An advanced robotic mechanism is used to transport discs into the built-in 48x CD-R recorder or optional Pioneer® combo DVD-R/CD-R recorder. After recording, discs are transported to the integrated printer and printed in full color at up to 2400 dpi resolution. Bravo prints directly onto the disc surface, eliminating the need for expensive and cumbersome hand-applied paper labels. |
Typical applications include businesses, churches, film and video producers, photography studios, music groups, schools as well as other companies and organizations who have a need for in-house copying and printing of CDs and DVDs. Virtually any digital information can be recorded, including audio, data, video, photos and more.
Bravo attaches to any Mac running Apple® OS X. Bravo comes equipped with Charismac Engineering's DiscribeT V5.0 duplication software. Mac users can design labels in any of their favorite graphic design programs such as Adobe® Illustrator®, Photoshop®, etc. and import them into the software. Because of its common USB and FireWire interfaces, Bravo may also be used cross-platform on Windows XP/2000-based computers with optional add-on software.
