Storage, to consumers probably better known as New Universe Technology (NU), has
announced that it will also start shipping consumer electronics. For now the
company will be focussing on portable and car-use DVD players.
Storage has already developed a portable DVD player model and plans to launch the product for sale under the NU brand next quarter, the company indicated. The company will also add other functions such as a TV receiver and GPS (global position system) by next year. |
Quanta Storage is also hoping for OEM orders which means
that products manufacturered by the company might also appear on the market by
other brand names.
