GRONINGEN - Juli 27th 2006 - RankOne Media Group (RMG), publishers of CD Freaks.com, announces today that is has selected VirtualConcepts to facilitate and manage its servers.
VirtualConcepts is a young company specialized in building flexible, reliable and scalable IT infrastructures. It has built a cluster for RMG of 9 servers that are in a load balanced setup, to guarantee availability and performance. Two backend servers are in a mixed failover setup for the best possible uptime. With CD Freaks.com (http://www.cdfreaks.com), worlds largest digital storage web log and community, RMG was looking for a solution that could handle over 100.000 unique visitors a day while guaranteeing maximum uptime, performance and remain scalable.

Currently RMG hosts their websites on 9 servers, good for nearly 54 Ghz of Intel Xeon CPU power, 18 GB DDR-RAM and 2 TB of hard disk space. Hardware support is outsourced to Dell Inc.
