Roxio Creator 8 beta starts next week Updated

A CD Freaks member, who requested anonymity, used our news submit to tell us that Roxio is preparing a new version of Roxio Creator: 8. No details have been released yet but an email sent to beta testers is reporting that beta stage should start next week.

Update 14 July 2005: The Roxio Creator 8 beta
had been put on hold for several days due to some issues with its beta
application form, however we have been told today that Roxio is now
accepting beta testers again on this
new link.

We are excited to give you the opportunity to help shape an upcoming product release. Beta testers will receive pre-release versions of our software to use and test. In return we ask that you provide us with feedback on any issues with ease of use, reliability, or general functionality. If you're looking for software that will work without problems, this program is not for you. If you want to live on the cutting edge and enjoy trying to break (or fix) things in an effort to help us deliver a better product, please keep reading.

To be considered as a potential beta test candidate, please fill out the form below to the best of your ability. All applications will be individually reviewed and those who are selected for the beta test program will be contacted via e-mail with further instructions. Due to the high number of expected applicants, we are unable to contact those who are not accepted. We will however keep the information on file should future beta test opportunities become available.

Accepted applicants must be 18 years of age or older and will be required to sign a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).

The company is still accepting beta testers in their website. You can fill out the survey and, if you're lucky, you might get in! We hope this new version brings even more interesting new features for cd freaks. If you want to discuss new ideas or chat
