The South Korean company Samsung has announced that they will not abandon HD-DVD yet. This news was announced at Samsung's press conference at CES in Las Vegas.
A spokesman confirmed that Samsung was suprised by Warner's decision to give Blu-ray exclusive support, but Samsung will continue to produce the dual-format player if market is warranted.
Samsung als thinks that the war is not yet over since there are still parties that support both formats or only HD-DVD.
