Sanyo rolls out several new digital recorders

Sanyo has rolled out four new ultra-compact digital voice recorders that have been designed to allow for MP3 recording and extended battery life.

All four devices, the Sanyo ICR-FP700D, ICR-FP600D, ICR-FP550e, and ICR-FP550 offer MP3 audio recording, with extremely high amounts of recording time.  The two higher-end models have an SD card spot, have 192k bits/sec stereo encoding, and have USB transfer abilities.

Full specs all of four products can be found here.

"Sanyo's new line of MP3 recorders raises the bar in digital voice recording technology," Sanyo President of Marketing and Product Planning Tom Van Voy said in a statement.  ""Students, business professionals and music enthusiasts will be pleased to know that our stylish, high performance designs feature universal MP3 recording; making them easy to use and the recorded content easy to share."

All four Sanyo digital voice recorders will be available sometime later this month.

Don't have a real use for one of these at the moment, but would have loved to have one while I was in college.  Having an MP3 voice recorder with 544 hours of recording time and 29 hours of battery life would have been a gift from heaven, as I was using a tape recorder that had just a few hours of battery life.

There have been a number of new digital voice recorders over the past couple of years, and the technology continues to progress for clear audio recordings.
