Sanyo unveiled details about the CRD-BPDV2 already in September last year. Then it was announced as writing DVD+R/RW in 4x/4x, CD-R/RW in 24x/12x, reading DVD/CD-ROM in 16x/40x and writing/reading HD-BURN in 36x/80x.
Unfortunately it looks like Sanyo has lowered the specifications now:

Sanyo will "soon launch" the CRD-BPDV2 according to the DVD+RW Alliance's Cebit 2003 site.
