For most of the advanced users of this site I'm sure you run an ftp server of some sorts on your computer either for trading with or just purely for giving yourself remote access to your computer and the files on it.
Serv-U, one of the two most commonly used ftp server programs, has just released a new version.
Version 4.
To be honest the changelog for such a major revision change would be expected to be quite major, it seems a bit disappointing however.
Here it is from their site.
Serv-U 4.0 was released February 4, 2002. A complete list of changes and upgrades follows: |
Added Support for FEAT, OPTS, PROT, and AUTH commands.
Added ability to create customized certificates
Added TLS / SSL support, both for implicit and explicit SFTP.
Fixed bug in Admin program about clearing all sysop messages
Anyway, for those that use this one as oposed to G6 I'm sure you'll be happy with a new release.
