SlySoft announces AnyDVD, rip DVDs on the fly, no more long waits

Readers of our forum already could feel it coming, a new nice suprise for DVD backuppers. The company SlySoft has released AnyDVD. This software is able to decrypt CSS protected DVDs without storing them on the hard disk. The software is like a device driver that comes in between your DVD reader and the software you are using to read a DVD and removes the protection while reading.

The company promises an unprotected DVD in a matter of time. It is also now possible to backup DVDs on the fly, while reading the DVD you can write it instantly. All with all this should speed up the amount of time you are spending on ripping your DVD movies.

What about copying your favourite movie onto a DVD recordable without ripping it onto your hard disk before? Insert your CSS- (Content Scrambling System) and RPC (Region Code Protected) - protected DVD into your DVD drive. AnyDVD will detect it and automatically remove the protection. It only takes a few seconds. Even if your drive is not region-free, you'll now get a chance to copy movies that don't match your drives region code!

Start your copying software now and load the video title you would like to copy. You do not have to copy it to your hard disk before. It is already cracked! While copying the main movie to a DVD recordable, AnyDVD will decrypt the protected data "on the fly". As a result you'll have an unprotected DVD in your hands.

People wondering if this legal? It depends on where you live. The company is located on the Caribbean island Antigua, where they don't seem to be really intrested in copyright laws and hey you know where foxes are known for! The company recommends CloneDVD for backups, but it should also work with other applications. And as you can find on the companies website, of course our forum is the best place to discuss this new software.
