jellybelly and Mad
Burner both reported to us that SlySoft has
released an update of the AnyDVD software. For those of you who don't know the
software, with AnyDVD installed and running a DVD-Video disc will appear as
unprotected to Windows. This means that you can rip the files from the DVD disc
with, for instance, Windows Explorer.
Because AnyDVD decrypts DVD-Video discs
on-the-fly it also allows you to use software which otherwise cannot access
encrypted DVD's such as CloneDVD. Last but certainly not least, AnyDVD can also be used
to rip copy protected audio CD's with. More information can be found on the
SlySoft homepage.
