Sony America releases new firmware version for DRU-500A/DRX-500UL

A while back we already reported about Sony Japan releasing
a new firmware version for the Sony DRU-500A(X) and DRX-500UL(X) DVD-recorders.
Today bennywan, via our Firmware Forum, lets us know that Sony America has also released this
new version.

So why do we post the same news again? Well the
changelog that was translated from the Japanese Sony website was very unclear
while the Sony America changelog is very understandable:

Firmware Upgrade 2.0F Allows your Dual RW drive to record at 4X on 4X compatible DVD-/+R media. Improves reading and writing performance and reliability. Reduces vibration noise for the discs with unbalance or eccentricity. Improves audio playback on written discs with stand alone systems.

For those people who haven't upgraded the firmware of their DRU-500A(X)
