Blu-ray technology has been taken to court by a California company, Target Technology, which claims Sony has infringed on its 2006 patent related to silver based reflective materials incorporated in DVD manufacturer.
Sony has been to court before and has yet to comment on this suit. An injunction has been applied for which has the potential to remove Blu-ray from the shelves, unlikely in this case.
