SONY ANNOUNCES TOP OF THE RANGE DVD PLAYER WITH SUPER AUDIO CD AND HDMI OUTPUT
Picture quality and cutting edge design meet in this new
feature-packed, stylish DVD player
Unbeatable picture and sound quality come together in the DVPNS92V, the latest addition to Sony's range of DVD Players. Among the new features is HDMI™ (High Definition Multimedia Interface) output, which provides an entirely digital output via one single cable, for a quick and tidy connection to a TV or an AV receiver.
Digital upscaling to 1280x720p/1920x1080i optimises picture quality by reproducing the DVD image to a higher resolution than standard definition, in output. An advanced Sony algorithm dynamically calculates the necessary adjustments to the image in upscaling, resulting in fantastic image clarity, detail and colour.
The Audio experience achieved with the DVP-NS92V is equally as impressive with the superb Multichannel Surround Sound delivered through playback of the Super Audio CD format. The quality of sound is not only better but the experience is like being in a concert hall, as you hear individual instruments like never before.
Precision Cinema Progressive™ design has the processing power to deliver fluid progressive-scan video on every DVD. This feature detects whether objects on the screen are moving, and by how much, and processes each pixel to the appropriate measure. The results are superb video images that give sharpness to both still and fast moving objects alike and jagged edges on diagonal lines are virtually eliminated thanks to V-Edge Compensation.
The DVP-NS92V would be an ideal solution for home cinema enthusiasts and the quality guaranteed by Sony ensures the best home entertainment experience. The slim and stylish design, with brushed aluminium finish, would perfectly compliment any of Sony's latest range of BRAVIA LCD TVs and is available in both Silver and Black.
This product will be available in Europe in October 2005.
